Double Coupons at Kmart Stores

I received an e-mail this morning from Shawna in Maplewood about the Kmart Doubling:

"Just thought everyone might like to know that a lot of Kmarts are doing coupon doubling this week. I don't know for sure all of the ones in MN are doing it... but it sounded like most in the Cities and southern MN are. You can get some fantastic deals if you do it right. I bought $56 dollars worth of stuff and paid $13!"

I'm glad to hear she got such great deals! Unfortunately, I'm not near a Kmart so haven't checked it out myself yet, but here are some of the details:

"Amount of Credit from doubling a coupon cannot exceed the retail price of an item. No cash or in-store purchase credit will be awarded for any amount exceeding the retail price of the item. Limit 1 coupon for each item purchased. Only 1 coupon will be doubled per item. You may only purchase 4 of the same items using double coupons. Coupons do not apply to sales tax. Limit 75 coupons per customer per day. Internet coupons or copies of manufacturer instant coupons are not valid".

Johnsonville Sausage Cheap at Cub

Johnsonville ground italian sausage is on sale Buy 1 Get 1 Free with the coupon from the Cub flyer. The price is $3.69. There was a $1 off coupon in the Oct 5th Smartsource coupon insert. So, if you have two of those, you will end up with two pounds of sausage for only $1.69!

Free $1 Bills and a Chance to Win $1000

Highland Bank will be giving away one thousand brand new one dollar bills as FREE Samples during Customer Appreciation Days at their new Minnetonka and Minneapolis offices October 13-18.

One of these bills will be the winning ticket for a chance to win $1,000! They will draw the winning serial number at noon in Minnetonka on Saturday, Oct. 18, and it will be announced on KS95 radio and will be posted in their office lobbies and on their Web site at http://www.highlandbanks.com

Each day the two locations are giving out 75-100 $1 bills, starting at 10 am during the week and at 9 am on Saturday.
